What data we collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and a password (stored encrypted). While using the app, we store the following data:
- – Dietary preferences and allergies (e.g. vegetarian, gluten-free)
- – Cooking time, household size and supermarket preference
- – Generated weekly menus and recipe history
- – Favourite recipes
- – Pantry stock ("already have")
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to make the app work: personalising weekly menus, generating shopping lists, and showing relevant recipes. We do not use your data for advertising.
Storage and security
Your data is securely stored via Supabase (PostgreSQL) on EU-based servers. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. Connections are secured with TLS.
No sale to third parties
We never sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. External services we use process only the minimum necessary data and operate under their own privacy policies:
- – Supabase — storage of your account and data (EU-based servers)
- – Google Gemini and OpenAI — generating weekly menus and recipes based on your preferences (anonymised, without your email address)
- – Mollie — payment processing for the Pro subscription
Your rights
You have the right to view, correct or delete your data. To do so, contact us at info@aantafel.app. Your account and all associated data can be fully deleted upon request.
Cookies
We only use functional cookies that are necessary for login and session management. No tracking or advertising cookies are placed.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you by email. The date at the top of this document indicates when it was last updated.
